The first day we were there the students were asked what they knew about the lesson that we would be teaching, Egypt our teacher told us that this is always what she likes to do so she knows if she wants or needs to go further indepth with the lessons. For the rest of the hour the students read the book and completed a reading project that I corected later in the week. this is a good idea due to the fact that you will know who read the book and who did not. On Wednesday we saw how the students are use to the group prodject. Our head teacher chose the groups on multiple criteria. she was able to discuss with us later on that she does multiple ways of group projects. Sometimes she lets students work with their friends, other times she goes with how this project was designed. I feel that this is a good why to do it because it allows for borders to be broken down between students so we don't see clicks forming. Due to the fact that we mainly focused on the project however we did not get the chance to see many other things so far in class. we will probably see them as the class moves on.
